Brian Atkinson at Saunders Point Brewing in Gladstone, MI, Tuesday, August 4, with Chris Young.

Brian Atkinson

The nicest voice in comedy. Brian Atkinson is a comedian who played a serial killer on TV while doing voices for PBS Kids. This guy-next-door with a radio voice talks about his career in broadcasting, voiceover, and being adopted twice, with twisted observations of everyday life. Brian is an award-winning comedian: Best of The Bash 2022, 2023, and 2025, World Series of Comedy 2023-2026 Top 40 Comic, 2023 and 2025 Wildcard 1st Place Winner, and 2026 Semi Finalist. Brian is so funny, you might not notice he's working clean.

Chris Young

Chris Young is able to take real life experiences and turn them into laughs that maintain a clean but funny appearance. Chris’s luck (or lacks there of) have lead him to look at the world through a different set of glasses. Having once been called a pessimist by a fellow classmate "he replied simply, that he is not a pessimist but an optimist, as he believes things could not get any worse!”
Chris is a frequent performer at comedy clubs, colleges and casino’s as well as corporate shows around the country. He has appeared at the Gilda's Laughfest in Grand Rapids,Mi the Laughing Skull Festival and the Canton Comedy Festival. His DryBar Special has millions of views. He was the winner of the TV20 Detroit "That's Funny" Comedy Contest on My Network, as well as a finalist in Dave Coulier's "Clean Guys of Comedy/Unbleepable Contest." Chris is also a favorite on radio stations all across the country. He has shared the stage with some of his favorite comics, including Bob and Tom's Mike Armstrong, Larry Reeb, Heywood Banks, and Dave Coulier.

Saunders Point Brewing

We love beer, we love to make it, and we love to drink it. Saunders Point Brewing started with a group of friends looking to take their appreciation of craft beer to the next level, by enrolling in Brewing 101 at the local community college. Extra study sessions were conducted at a local sports bar, and the conversation turned into a vision of someday opening a brewery. The more “study sessions” conducted, the more the momentum grew and the collective gleam in our eye of what we could achieve became brighter.

Brad Tassell

Brad Tassell has been called the MOST FUN COMEDIAN TO WATCH since Robin Williams, he has 30+ years a professional full-time comedian, author, speaker, educator Brad Tassell has proven he is not only hilarious, but smart, kind, useful, and the perfect performer for any group, any place, any time. In 2022 his Drybar comedy special was released to massive acclaim and views. He has been seen on CMT, ESPN, MTV, PBS, and has been one of the top comedian on Carnival Cruise lines for nearly 20 years. He also had a hugely successful Las Vegas residency at the Rio Hotel and Casino next to Penn and Teller in a show called, "Comic Therapy." Brad uses his Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences to bring solution-based interventions, award-winning, and hilarious educational keynotes on bullying prevention to schools, educators, and workshops.

Steve Goodie

Steve Goodie is, in all modesty and candor, the genius of our age. Comedian, writer, singer, director and producer, Steve was a founding member of Monty Python and has written scripts for Sid Caesar, Woody Allen, Mahatma Gandhi, Matt Groening, and Queen Elizabeth (for which he was knighted in 1972 at the unprecedented age of six). The Beatles credit much of their fame to his early studio work, during which he developed their recording sound with his apprentice, George Martin. His film scores and theatre work need no introduction, and he became a household word with his ground-breaking recording of The Biggest Belch In The History Of Man. It is a tribute to his humility that, on the suggestion of his long-time fan and sometime paramour Liz Taylor, he entered the Federal Witness Protection Program and began a new career, "to level the playing field," as he put it, "for the other idiots trying to make it in Show Business."

Stan Freberg's United States of America

Stan Freberg Presents the United States of America Volume One: The Early Years is a 1961 American comedy album with music and lyrics written by Stan Freberg and sketches written by Freberg and Ken Sullett, released as Capitol W/SW-1573 in 1961. Freberg satirizes episodes of the history of the United States from 1492 until the end of the Revolutionary War in 1783. The album combined dialogue and song in a musical theater format. Billy May orchestrated and conducted the music, with the Jud Conlon Singers providing background vocals. Our presentation as a staged radio play omits the musical numbers but maintains the biting satire. It's worth noting that a casual listener may perceive stereotypes that haven't aged well. The satirical roast of the white man and historical authority figures survives and flourishes 65 years later. There's no punching down to oppressed people groups, only punching up at the pedestal standers like Christopher Columbus, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington. It's a hilarious romp through the early years of American history even if you're not a history buff.
